Abia Police recover 3 stolen vehicles

Operatives of the Abia State Police Command have recovered three stolen vehicles.

Information reaching our news desk indicated that on 28th January, 2021 at about 5.30pm, the men of the command’s Quick Intervention Unit(QUIT) acting on credible information recovered three Toyota Camry Cars with the following registration numbers: HU 972 EKY (Lagos) color red, EJ 599 PHC (Rivers) colour ash and DH 991 FST (Lagos) colour blue in the premises of Onyike Temple male of Mbutu Umuga Osisioma LGA, Abia State.

Our police source said that the vehicles commonly known as ‘pencil light’ were being tampered with to avoid recognition by their original owners.

Suspects arrested with the owner of the premises is Ofodile Emmanuel of Ihiala Anambra State, a mechanic brought by Onyike Temple.

The suspects according to police authorities have not been able to give account of the sources of the three vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Abia State Police Command has urged anyone whose vehicle of such description was recently stolen to report to the command for identification and collection.
